Please join the Prince William NAACP for a Black History Month Celebration, at the corner of Liberty and Prince William Streets in downtown Manassas at 4 pm on Sunday, February 26, as the City of Manassas installs an historic marker commemorating historic Liberty Street and the location of the first African-American public school in Manassas.

Several distinguished guests will acknowledge the contributions of this historically African-American neighborhood.  A reception with light refreshments will follow at the Manassas Museum.
