Help Us on Election Day!

During each General Election, MMPCDC volunteers greet arriving voters outside all nine polling places in the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. These volunteer Poll Greeters simply hand out a sample Democratic ballot to arriving voters, to make them aware of all our Democratic candidates.

Assigning just three Democratic volunteers to staff all nine polling places for the 13 hours that the polls are open requires 351 volunteer hours. If you can spare an hour or two to join us on Election Day as a Poll Greeter, we could really use your help!

If you can help for more than a few hours on Election Day, we currently also need volunteer Precinct Captains for all three Manassas Park precincts and for the new Round ES Precinct in Manassas.  Precinct captains are responsible for setting up and taking down the Democratic station outside the polling place, supporting our volunteer poll greeters, and helping to ensure that all poll greeter shifts are staffed.

If you can help us as a Poll Greeter or a Precinct Captain on Election Day, please contact us at or 571-358-9893 to sign up or for more information.
